Christopher Peltier

Christopher Peltier was always busy and rarely took time to focus on his health. Then a severe infection changed everything. What began as a simple wound quickly worsened, leaving him in significant pain and in need of specialized care.

Christopher was referred to Vibra Hospital of the Central Dakotas, a critical care hospital specializing in the treatment of complex medical conditions, including advanced wounds and IV antibiotic management.

From the start of his stay, Christopher was determined to improve. His biggest motivation was returning home to his young grandson.

“The staff here are some of the best I’ve ever encountered,” Christopher shared. “They all motivated me and have been so kind and helpful. I want to thank each and every one of them. All of the CNAs are fantastic.”

Christopher focused on one simple goal: to be a little better each day than he was the day before.

Over time, Christopher’s pain improved significantly, and the size and condition of his wound showed remarkable progress. As his health improved, Christopher reached an important milestone: he was able to return home with home health services.

With home health visits twice a week, he could now focus on what mattered most: spending precious time at home with his grandson, the driving force behind his determination to improve.

Reflecting on his journey at Vibra Hospital, Christopher shared, “The staff made me feel welcomed, genuinely cared for, and supported in becoming a better person—both physically and mentally.”
